David Pearce’s daily morning cocktail (2015)

“Amineptine c. 200mg, selegiline 2 x 5mg, resveratrol 2 x 250mg, turmeric, blueberry, green tea extract, flaxseed oil, soya protein isolate, creatine, l-carnosine, optimised folate, LEF “Life-Extension” mix, 200mg ibuprofen; and a selection of various Linwoods products added to my black coffee and sugar-free Red Bull.

“This cocktail would not suit everyone.”

In case you were wondering. Obtained from here.

I’m fascinated by the fact that he was taking quite a high dose of Amineptine (tricyclical antidepressant/selective and mixed dopamine reuptake inhibitor) and low dose selegiline (MAO-Inhibitor). Was this driven by medical intervention for depression or was he just experimenting pharmacology with various pharmaceuticals to optimize his dopaminergic/serotonergic pathways?
